The earnest fight to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease is continually being battled on many fronts. On the medical front, the advances in ongoing research and clinical trials have saved many lives. Whilst progress in technology has contributed to better detection, eg. digital mammography, only recently available in Singapore, allows higher quality imaging for more accurate readings.
