2010 has been a cornerstone for the Breast Cancer Foundation where the spotlight on the topic of breast cancer has shone brighter than ever, especially during the month of October.
From pink running shoes, t-shirts and sport caps, to pink casual tops and glam-it-up evening wear, people everywhere will be dressing up with a touch of pink in October to show their support for breast cancer.
According to official statistics, breast cancer is a disease that affects older women from 50-69 years. But cases of young women having breast cancer are just as real, though the numbers may be small and official data are not available.....
The past few months had been exceptionally eventful ones for the Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF), especially with a slew of activities that were held in conjunction with the national Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM) campaign to highlight the importance of breast cancer screening and early detection.
