Rahayu Mohamad

Mdm Rahayu Mohamad is an accomplished leader in various organizations, including Persatuan Pemudi Islam Singapura (PPIS) or The Singapore Muslim Women’s Association where she served as Immediate Past President. She is also involved with the People Association board, Council for Third Age, Appeal Committee for National Council of Problem Gambling, and is a founding member of the Singapore Alliance of Women for Aging. In the Malay Muslim community, she serves on several boards and councils, including Yayasan MENDAKI and LBKM. She is also the Assistant Secretary at Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations. She holds a Masters in Curriculum and Teaching from NTU and Honours in Law and Syariah from International Islamic University, Malaysia. She is an Associate Lecturer at the National Institute of Early Childhood Education in Singapore, and a consultant to many local Muslim organizations. Mdm Rahayu was appointed by the President of Singapore as a Council Member for the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS) and reappointed for the third term in 2022-2025.
